America - New Orleans: Gators, Cajuns & Creoles
(3 days & 2 nights mini-stay or 4 days & 3 nights city package)

New Orleans is one of America’s – and the world’s – most colorful cities. Its surprising variety stems from the mix of African, Caribbean, French, native American and Spanish cultures.

Probably the most distinctive components are the Cajuns, whose French-derived dialect, Creole cuisine, and music characterize this part of Louisiana.

Admire the lace iron balconies of the French Quarter or stop for a café au lait and beignets at a sidewalk cafe. Music is always nearby, supplied by the tolling bells of St. Louis Cathedral, the clanging of streetcars and the rhythms of Dixieland Jazz.

Discover some of the majestic plantation homes and see the mysterious alligator swamps surrounding new orleans and you will agree that the “the Big Easy” is like no other place in the world.
