Please read the conditions that will apply to your Travel Arrangements
Garuda Orient acts as a booking agent only in respect of all bookings Garuda Orient makes on your behalf. Garuda Orient Holidays. biz undertakes no responsibility for, and are not liable for, the misrepresentations, breaches of contract, breaches of statutory duty or negligence of any of the accommodation providers and other suppliers of services who sell their products and services through us. This means that in the event of you suffering personal injury, illness or death as a result of any act or omission of an accommodation provider or other supplier of services (or their employees or agents) or you having any complaint about the quality of the services provided or having any other complaint at all, your sole right of redress will be against the independent third party who provided such service and Garuda Orient will be under no liability at all (whether in contract, tort or otherwise howsoever). We try to ensure that the information contained on our web site is accurate and up to date. However, we recommend that you verify the information before acting on it.
You accept that Garuda Orient has not in any way selected or assembled your travel arrangements for you. Your accommodation arrangements are not a package and do not fall within the meaning of The package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. By proceeding to book accommodation and/or other services through the Site, you accept that you will be entering into a contract with the accommodation provider on their standard terms and conditions. If they are provided, will endeavour (but undertake no liability to do so) to make copies of the accommodation provider's terms and conditions available to you.
You understand that Garuda Orient may not have conducted any quality or other checks on the accommodation providers and Garuda Orient makes no representations about the suitability of the accommodation and/or services offered for sale through the Site. The inclusion or offering for sale of an accommodation and/or services by Garuda Orient does not constitute an express or implied endorsement or recommendation by Garuda Orient of such accommodation or services. Garuda Orient does not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim liability for any inaccuracies relating to, the accommodation and services offered for sale through us.
Nothing in these terms of use shall operate to exclude or limit the liability of Garuda Orient for fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Where you, or any of the people that you are booking on behalf of, are in breach of any of the provisions of these Terms or contravention of any laws or rights of a third party, Garuda Orient reserves the right to cancel your booking without refund or compensation in any way and recover from you any costs incurred as a result of your behaviour.

To confirm a booking, you must be authorised to make the booking by all persons named on the booking and their parent or guardian for all party members who are under 18 when the booking is made. By making the booking, you are confirming that all persons named on the booking accept the Terms and that you will inform the other persons named on the booking of the confirmation details and any other appropriate information. By making the booking you also become responsible for making all payments due under the booking. Garuda Orient will confirm your booking and issue you with an email confirmation. Garuda Orient will not deduct any money from your credit card. The accommodation or other service provider with which you enter into a contract will take payment. In the event that you call Garuda Orient by telephone, or are called by Garuda Orient regarding your booking, calls may be recorded for monitoring and training purposes. In the event of a dispute regarding a booking, Garuda Orient reserves the right to review any call information. Credit card companies charge us a fee when you pay with their cards and therefore a credit card fee is applied to bookings made with Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit cards.

If you cancel, amend or change a booking
You may modify or cancel your booking at any time prior to your arrival date through the Site. If you cancel or amend your booking, there may be a cancellation charge or amendment fee levied by the accommodation or other service provider. In any event, if you fail to cancel or amend your booking in accordance with the provider's cancellation or amendment policy, you will be charged a cancellation or amendment fee by the accommodation or other service provider.If, for whatsoever reason, you do not turn up at the accommodation on the arrival date stated on your booking confirmation email, without prior warning to Garuda Orient ("a no show"), this shall be considered a cancellation.

Garuda Orient not liable for damages or losses that may result from travel to any particular destination. The Government of your country may help travellers stay safe overseas. Check with your government for the latest advice on conditions and general information concerning specific countries. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the relevant travel and health documents before departure for the country you are visiting, which shall include, but is not limited to, any inoculations that may be required, identification and passport.
Garuda Orient shall not be liable for any expense incurred resulting from your missing, incomplete or incorrect documentation or any non-compliance with requirements.

You are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance prior to arriving in your destination. It is your responsibility to check you have adequate insurance cover. The insurance should cover, amongst other things, the cost of cancellation by you, personal losses, all medical costs and the costs of assistance including return to the your country of residence in the event of an accident or illness.

Force Majeure Garuda Orient will not be liable for any changes, cancellation, effect on your booking, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by the accommodation providers and/or Garuda Orient to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you which is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) if the non performance is caused by force majeure. By way of example force majeure includes, but is not limited to, war, revolution, terrorist act, closure of borders, epidemic, natural catastrophe or other causes that seriously affect both parties and other unforeseeable causes beyond Garuda Orient control.

Complaints or issues with your accommodation
In the unlikely event that you have reason to complain or experience any problems with your accommodation please inform the accommodation reception staff or management immediately, to enable them to take appropriate action.

Garuda Orient privacy policy
Garuda Orient understands that making purchases online involves your trust and that you wish to remain in control of your personal information. Retaining your trust is a responsibility that Garuda Orient takes very seriously. By disclosing your Personal Information to Garuda Orient using this Site or over the telephone, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of your Personal Information by Garuda Orient as stated in this Privacy Policy. Any changes to the Garuda Orient Privacy Policy will be made to this page. Your continued use of this Site will constitute your agreement to the changed Terms of using this Site. The information is only de-encrypted when it reaches our server. Garuda Orient Holidays will only disclose your name and booking details to our suppliers for operational purposes. We will not pass on your details to other companies for marketing purposes. We won't disclose credit/debit card numbers unless we believe in good faith that the law requires it. The Personal Information that Garuda Orient collects from you shall be obtained, processed and transmitted in compliance with applicable data protection legislation. Since Garuda Orient servers are located in the United Kingdom, the personal information that Garuda Orient collects from you shall be obtained, processed and transmitted in compliance with European Directives 95/46 and 2002/58, as well as any other such legislation that substitutes complements and develops it such as the Personal Data Protection Act 1998 from the United Kingdom (hereinafter collectively referred to by its initials PDPR (personal data protection regulation)). Garuda Orient takes full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information and store the information in secure databases at secure addresses to prevent unauthorised access. Garuda Orient must pass the information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements. The information may also be provided to security or credit checking companies, public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law. To ensure that your booking runs smoothly Garuda Orient needs to use information such as your name and address, credit card details, special needs, dietary requirements etc. Garuda Orient will apply appropriate security measures to protect this data. However, Garuda Orient may disclose information about you to other organisations that are hotel partners or affiliates or to organisations contracted by Garuda Orient to manage aspects of the Site. Additionally, controls on data protection in your destination may not be as strong as in the European Economic Area (EEA). Garuda Orient will not, however, pass any information onto any person not responsible for part of your travel arrangements. This applies to any sensitive information that you give to Garuda Orient such as details of any disabilities, or dietary/religious requirements. If Garuda Orient cannot pass this information to the relevant accommodation and/or service providers, Garuda Orient cannot provide your booking.
