Guests will be met upon arrival at Dubai Airport
assisted with Immigration formalities and then
transferred to Avari Dubai for check-in. Overnight
stay at the Avari Dubai hotel (or similar)
09.00 hrs : Meet with your local tour
guide for a short brief and then depart on a Dubai
City Tour. A fascinating historical excursion.
Our route takes us to the magnificent Jumeirah
mosque; past modern palaces sprawled along the
coast. In Bastakia we stop for a while to admire
the old wind-tower houses built by wealthy merchants.
Close by, stands the 150-year old Al Fahidi Fort.
Here, the Dubai Museum records the city’s
past as an important pearl diving and trading
centre. We continue our journey by Abra - local
water taxi. As we cross the Creek we see the modern
metropolis with its splendid architecture dwarfing
the bustling alleys of our next destination, the
gold and spice souks. Then we retun back to hotel
during lunch time. (lunch own arrangements)
Late afternoon, depart on a Dune Dinner Safari
with Belly Dance Show and BBQ Dinner at the Desert
Camp
Overnight stay at the Avari Dubai hotel (or
similar)
After Breakfast we check-out and proceed to Abu
Dhabi, the capitol of United Arab Emirates. In
this city of dramatic contrasts, we visit the
Abu Dhabi Fish Market, then the ancient, but now
renovated Al Husn Fort, and lastly the popular
Heritage Village (lunch on own arrangements).
Then we proceed to the Oasis city of Al Ain.
We visit is the Hili archaeological digs, which
date back some five thousand years, the Al Ain
Museum which is next to the old fortress, and
then walk through the oasis located nearby which
highlights the traditional irrigation system.
Our last visit is the traditional camel market
and then check-in to our hotel Overnight stay
at Al Ain Rotana (or similar)
08.00hrs Zahara Tours Guide will meet the
guest at the Al Ain Rotana hotel and proceed to
Hafeet border for Oman and UAE immigration and
custom formalities. (Please note that clients
will have to do Immigration and customs formalities
at the Boarder and it could take some time there.
The Tour Guide will be assisting).
14.00hrs We visit Jabrin , the finest of Oman’s
castles built in the late 17th century, became
a seat of Omani learning. The castle displays
the highest achievement in Omani ceiling painting
& beautifully executed wood carvings. Then
continue to visit the walled village of Bahla
, famous for its pottery & fabled superstition.
Proceed to the foothill village of Al Hamra, which
is famous for its thick date groves.
16.00hrs Arrive Nizwa Check-in at Nizwa Hotel.
Rest of the day will be at leisure for independent
activities.
Dinner and overnight stay at Nizwa Hotel
We depart Nizwa, capital of the interior, is the
birth place of Islam in the Sultanate of Oman.
Nizwa boast of the famous Round Tower Fort built
in the 17th century, and its Souq renowned for
its intricately hand-carved “Khanjars”
(daggers) & ornamental silver jewellery. Proceed
to Al Sawadi and check-in at Al Sawadi Beach Resort.
15.00hrs Drive through the date palms to the
sparkling springs and fort at Nakl, return back
to Al Sawadi. Overnight stay at Al Sawadi Beach
Resort
After Breakfast, we depart Sawadi to Muscat. Muscat
offers the visitor a unique opportunity to witness
a modern commercial center existing in harmony
with its traditional culture. With its natural
harbour, Muscat means "Anchorage" &
lies in a natural volcanic bowl. Then we visit
the Grand Mosque (except Fridays) (Ladies fully
covered with scarf and shorts not allowed for
men) Check-in to the Golden Tulip Seeb Hotel
in Muscat
13.00hrs Buffet Lunch will be served at Hotel.
15.30hrs We depart to the Bait al Zubair Museum
(except Friday) is a brief introduction that traces
Oman’s history and development. We proceed
for a photo stop to the magnificent Al Alam Palace
, residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos flanked
by the 16th century Portugese forts Mirani &
Jalali. We proceed for the visit of colourful
Muttrah Souq. Overnight stay at Golden Tulip
Seeb Hotel in Muscat
Breakfast at hotel
08.00hrs Proceed straight to Seeb International
Airport for your flight back to Dubai EK 863 at
1100 hrs.
