Meet at the airport (or hotel), transfer to restaurant
for lunch. After lunch, drive to Brastagi with enroute
stop at Nature Reserved and fruit stands in Berastagi.

After breakfast, transfer to Parapat. Enroute visit
Lingga Village to see a glimpse of the way of life
of the Karo Batak Tribe and their typical houses,
Tongging Hill to view the Northern part of Lake Toba
and Sipisopiso Waterfall, and also a visit to Pematang
Purba to see the long house (Ruma Bolon) which was
belonged to the royal families of the Simalungun Batak
tribe. Lunch enroute. After lunch proceed by boat,
cruising on Lake Toba to the central isle of Samosir
where colorful Toba Batak villages cling to the shore.

A day tour by boat, cruising on Lake Toba to visit
Tomok Village where carved statues stand in an ancient
graveyard as memorial to the kings of bygone days,
and chance to hunt souvenir. Proceed to Ambarita Village
to see the stone furniture as the remnant of the megalithic
culture of the Toba Batak. Then visiting Simanindo
Village to see the long house of the Toba Batak King,
which now has become a museum and a chance to watch
Toba Batak folk dance that performed by the villagers.
Lunch enroute. Finally to Tao Island for swim in the
tranquil water of Lake Toba. Dinner and accommodation
at hotel. (B, L, D).
After breakfast, transfer by boat to Parapat. On arrival
in Parapat, proceed by ac-coach to Padang Sidempuan
with enroute stop at Lumban Binanga to see a typical
village of the Toba Batak tribe, Porsea, market place
in Balige, and Tarutung, a small town located in Silindung
Valley, for lunch. (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Then continue driving through
the same mountain range of Bukit Barisan to Bukittinggi.
Stop will be made at Usortolang Village to see the
remnant of the Mandailing Batak typical houses, Purba
Village, Bonjol Villagewhere the equator line across.
Lunch will be served enroute. Dinner and accommodation
at hotel in Bukittinggi. (B, L, D)
After breakfast, a full day tour of the Minangkabau
Highland with visiting Batu Sangkar being a lively
and scenic town surrounded by majestic rice terrace
where local countryside is dotted with Rumah Adat,
enroute stop at Pagaruyung to see the Palace which
was rebuilt on the ruin of the bygone Pagaruyung Empire,
Lima kaum to see the stabbed and inscribed stone of
the past king, and Pariangan Village being the ancestor's
village which is set in picturesque valley with stairways
leading to traditional houses and a royal tomb. Lunch
of a typical Minangkabau cuisine will be served en
route. On the way back to Bukittinggi, drives up over
the low crater wall and down to Singkarak Lake passing
through the charming hilltop village of Balimbing,
a traditional place with seve-ral rumah gadang. Accommodation
and dinner at the hotel. (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Having city sightseeing of
Bukittinggi which featuring Sianok Canyon, the famous
Fort de Kock one of the remnant of the Dutch Colonial
Government, and the colorful Pasar Atas or Upper Market.
Then proceed to Embun Pagi to view the fascinating
landscape over Maninjau Lake, also stop will be made
at Koto Gadang being well-known for its Silver Work,
and Pandai Sikat a small village famous for its woodcarving,
em-broidery and loom weaving. Lunch would be served
en-route. Then driving down to Padang through deep
ravines and dense forest across steep fern covered
slopes that afford fantastic views of Anai Valley.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day at leisure until
its time to proceed to the airport to catch the flight
of onward destination. (B)
