Arrival and transfer to the Golden Tulip Seeb
hotel.

2 : Thurs - 0800 hrs
Breakfast. Check out of the hotel.
Proceed to visit the Seeb fishing village
and drive to the sparkling springs at Nakhl.
Drive through the spectacular Wadi Bani Auf.
This stretch of graded road is very adventurous
& for the physically fit only as it involves
steep bends and bumpy roads. Visit the charming
mountain village of Bilad Sayt where one
is awestruck by the beauty of the landscape. This
70 km stretch of road continues unto the village
of Al Hamra famous for its date plantations.
Check into the Golden Tulip Nizwa Hotel.
Day
3 : Friday - 0800 hrs Breakfast.
Drive to the Souk to view the Friday cattle
auction. People from the surrounding countryside
come to buy or sell goats , sheep and cows in
the open market under the date palms. It is a
scene of bustling activity. Proceed to visit the
Jabrin Palace where the visitor is able
to capture the medieval atmosphere and view the
beautiful handpainted ceilings and carved door
frames. Our next stop takes us to Wadi Nakher
located in the depth of our deepest canyon. Visit
Misfah a pretty mountain village with stone
dwellings still in existence. While heading for
Jebel Shams stop at the terrace farming village
of Wadi Ghul. In the Jebel Akhdar range
Jebel Shams the highest peak offers a spectacular
view.

4 : Saturday - 0800 hrs Breakfast. Checkout of the Golden Tulip
Nizwa hotel.
Drive to the pretty village of Birkat Al Mauz.
Enjoy a walk through the lush green date plantations
. We proceed to Wadi Al Madeen, where the
entry permits have to be shown. From here a 36
km stretch of winding road takes one to Jebel
Al Akhdar (2000 mts above sea level) the green
jewel of the Al Hajjar mountain ranges, a truly
unique spot in the Arabian Peninsula. Enjoy the
cool climate up in the mountains.Al Jebel Al Akhdar
is famed for its fruit orchards typically laid
out terrace style along the slopes of mountains,
which are endowed with natural springs and aflaj.
One can view the beautiful rose gardens
of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos , ( entry not permitted
) The villages of Saiq, Wadi Bani Habib
(the village of the old houses) & Al Ain
dot the landscape. The villages overlook a spectacular
landscape of dramatic peaks , gorges and wadis.
The roses of Jabal Al Akhdar fill the air with
fragrance when in full bloom (March / April).
Rose water is distilled in the homes of the villagers.

Day
5 : Sunday - 0730 hrs
Breakfast.
Proceed to the Sinaw market which is a traditional
and old market where one can view trade in goats
, guns and silver. From here we carry onto to
Mudhaybi and go offroad towards Al Qabil. Visit
Wadi Bani Khalid one of Oman’s most spectacular
wadis with its deep blue pools of water. From
here we proceed to the Wahiba Sands . Visit a
Bedouin family in the wilderness . Dinner and overnight stay at the 1000 nts camp.
Day
6 : Monday - 0800 hrs Breakfast at the campsite. Experience the
thrills of dune driving before departing for Sur.
Visit the traditional dhow factory. The
ruins of Bibi Miriam’s Tomb can be
seen at the village of Qalhat on coastal road
to Muscat . Stop at Fins beach for a swim . Our
next stop is the Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular
limestone crater with blue green water at the
bottom. At Dibab take an adventurous offroad
track to visit the Wadi Arbayeen, characterized
by date palms and deep pools of water. Proceed
to Mazara before returning to Muscat. Drop
off at the hotel of your choice.
